Behind the Cultural Centre of Gothenburg we’ll take you for an interesting walk among the huge former private homes that were built for rich merchants, directors of shipping companies, consuls and architects in the early nineteen hundreds. The whole area has been inspired by the British architect Howard who also planned similar garden cities in UK. The homes were built around a small pond which was itself surrounded by big green areas full of lovely old trees.
